Converted two classrooms into a new Materials Lab for the engineering department, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical system design, specialty lab equipment, lighting, and power upgrades. Minor flooring and repainting were also included.
Installed cassette mini-split HVAC systems for efficient lab conditioning.
Designed specialty infrastructure: fume control for benchtop furnaces & 3D printers, plumbing for quench testing, and a compressed air system with quick-connects.
Upgraded electrical systems with LED recessed lighting, a new panelboard, and power poles for flexible lab table use.
Outcome:
Delivered specialized lab systems to support advanced testing and prototyping, giving the college a modern, flexible environment for its engineering program.
